A quarter of small firms ‘pivot’ or ‘thrive’

A survey of 500 small firms by productivity leadership group Be the Business has found that more than a quarter of small businesses are either expanding or moving into new areas during the COVID-19 pandemic. The survey found that 21% of small firms were “pivoters” launching new products, while 6% were classed as “thrivers” and are increasing production.
