Our Lenders will consider unusual, traditional and modern methods of construction and don’t have a ‘tick in the box’ approach to assessing projects.
Typically, self build mortgages will have a maximum 75% loan to final valuation which will include the cost of buying the land and all build costs with funds being released retrospectively on a satisfactory inspection by approved Building Control Inspectors.
Funds are typically released in 5 development stages
- Land Purchase
- Footings and Foundations Stage
- Construction of the walls (Wall Plate Level)
- Roofed In
- Internal/Final Completion
